Long-Term Care Services

Why Choose an Independent Long-Term Care Pharmacy?

Many long-term care facilities work with large corporate pharmacies, but an independent pharmacy offers a level of service and flexibility that larger providers often cannot match.

Our pharmacy and long term care services focus on building real partnerships with the facilities we serve. Instead of call centers and automated systems, your staff has direct access to a knowledgeable pharmacy team that understands your residents and your workflow.

Personalized Service

Independent pharmacies provide individualized support for each facility. Our team works closely with administrators, nurses, and caregivers to address medication needs quickly and efficiently.

Faster Response Times

Medication changes happen frequently in long-term care, which is why we prioritize the rapid processing of new orders, medication adjustments, and urgent requests to help ensure residents receive their medications without unnecessary delays. When questions arise, your staff can speak directly with a pharmacist who understands the situation, allowing for faster problem-solving and better communication with prescribers. For our contracted facilities, we also provide access to a dedicated after-hours emergency line, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so expert pharmacy support is always just a phone call away.

Flexible Solutions for Facilities

Every facility operates differently. We work with your team to create medication management systems that fit your workflow, whether that involves specialized packaging, customized delivery schedules, or additional clinical support and delivery.

Local, Reliable Support

As a local, family owned, independent pharmacy, we are committed to providing dependable long term care services to the Douglas and Johnson County areas, including Lawrence, Lenexa, Olathe, Overland Park, De Soto and other surrounding towns outside of the Kansas City metro. Our goal is to make medication management simpler for your staff while supporting the health and safety of your residents.

eMar Compatibility

Our pharmacy offers optional integration with PointClickCare for facilities that choose to participate. For integrated facilities, this provides streamlined medication management, accurate eMAR updates, and real-time communication with your care team. This integration helps long-term care facilities reduce errors, save time, and ensure residents receive the right medications at the right time—every time.

Emergency Medication Kits

We provide ready-to-use emergency medication kits to our skilled nursing facilities, ensuring residents have access to critical medications when unexpected situations arise. Our kits can be customized to the needs of your facility and are stocked, organized, and easy to use, giving staff confidence and supporting resident safety around the clock.

On-site vaccination clinics

Not all corporate long term care pharmacies are equipped to also provide the facility with yearly or bi-yearly vaccine clinics. As that is already part of our workflow, we are ready to provide our caring, effecient services to nursing homes we contract with as well as those who use outside pharmaceutical services.

Long-Term Care Consulting

Led by our Board-Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, our Long-Term Care Consulting services help assisted living communities and skilled nursing facilities improve medication management, regulatory compliance, and overall operational efficiency. We partner with your team to provide practical guidance on workflow optimization, policy development, staff education, survey readiness, and medication safety. By delivering personalized support and evidence-based recommendations, we help your facility enhance resident care, streamline operations, and achieve long-term success.
