TESTING FAQ

ARE THESE TESTS SUITABLE FOR TRAVEL?
A: PCR testing is approved for international travel.  Rapid Antigen tests *may* be approved, but check with your destination and/or airline.  Please check with your airline/arrival country to check how much in advance the results need to be known.  (Please note that those flying to Japan will NOT receive the required stamp and thus should not be used) 

WHEN SHOULD I TAKE A TEST IF I HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID-19?
A: CDC recommends testing 3-5 days post exposure, with or without symptoms.  KDHE recommends a second test 7-10 days after exposure, with or without symptoms and regardless of the first tests’ results.

HOW LONG DO RESULTS TAKE?
A: The lab (MAWD pathology) generally takes around 24 hours to text or email the PCR results to you.  Rapid Antigen results are texted or emailed within 30 minutes.

DOES IT COST ANYTHING?
A: As of January 14th, 2022, PCR testing is covered by the state until further notice.

DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
A: YES.  We do NOT accept walk-ins for PCR testing.  Please click your location above to make an appointment.

EVERYONE IN OUR FAMILY NEEDS A TEST. CAN WE COME TOGETHER?
A: Yes.  You will all need a separate time slot, but you can arrive together. Please let the clerk know who is in your vehicle.
